What a bargain!

I'll never use wired equipment again after using this wireless mouse and keyboard. Absolutely awesome! When I plugged the base unit into my USB port at first I didn't get any response from the keyboard and mouse. However a quick reboot of the PC later and I'm in business.
The mouse is a little heavier than a conventional with-wire mouse because of the 2xAA batteries, but after a few minutes I actually found that this felt better than before - a positive feel to the mouse. Very crisp and error-free movement. As for the keyboard, it feels much nicer than the standard Dell model I was using previously. It's very comforable and the keys feel positive, soft and not too clunky.
Overall, can't be beaten for the price.
Excellent piece of kit

I bought one of these sets to go with a PC I built for my kids, it's very easy to set up and use, with the receiver (about the size of a fag packet) being able to be placed out of line of sight of the keyboard and mouse, unlike some that rely on infra red (light beam)transmission. Battery life is excellent, with the mouse battery lasting almost 12 months.
Well worth the money :-)

Delivered free and fast, which is always a great place to start!
This wireless set looks the part and installed more easily than any of the wireless combinations that I've purchased in the past. Once the software was installed and the system rebooted, the keyboard and mouse auto installed and worked 100% from the word go. The keyboard is quiet and although it does not provide particularly good feedback, allows me to type quickly and accurately with none of the "missing characters" that have affected other wireless keyboards I have used. The range of short cut keys is more than adequate and keys are clearly marked. The mouse is smooth and accurate with no obvious caret creep encountered with many wireless optical mice. The buttons are invisible - they are in the usual place, but concealed beneath the casing, but operate perfectly well and allow quick and accurate use. The wheel also provides the usual middle button feature. It works well enough although I do find the wheel a little stiff - it will probably loosen up with use.
AA cells are provided for the keyboard and the mouse. I have no idea of what battery life to expect, but 2 AA cells won't break the bank.
All in all, a good value for money item. I'm very pleased with it and would recommend it to anybody.
Great Combo

Ok for playing games... the Keyboard can cut off for a split second if ur holding a button down (seemingly randomly) doesnt happen often. The problem normally sorts itself out and isnt really much of a bother. Batteries last ages, had the same ones in for 3 months now, great price and good quality, doesnt feel cheap and the mouse is quite accurate in cs.
great

After reading some of the reviews i was a little hesitant about ordering this, particularly with regards to the connection distance.

However, having placed the wireless receiver thing away from my pc/monitor and printer (as instructed)i can use both keyboard and mouse without delay or loss of signal to at least 18feet away! I can't get any further away because i lose sight of the screen!!

The mouse is of solid construction and feels weighty in the hand, the keyboard is very smooth.

At under £20 i can't understand why people are moaning or what they are moaning about
