Bought to replace an old Logitech keyboard I am pleased with this replacement. Connected via a small USB wireless stick it performs well and does not require the connection hub used by my previous keyboard leaving more space on my desk. The contour shape is good and the padded rest is very comfortable. Many computer functions can be accessed by a single special key which is handy.

I have been looking for a compact keyboard to use for my media center computer and this delivers exactly what I was looking for, at a good price as well.

The only thing I didn't like (and thus I rate it 4 stars instead of 5) was that it lacked the "scroll wheel" area on the right of its touchpad. Instead it features a multi-touch use-2-fingers-to-scroll mechanism which, in my personal opinion, is more annoying to use than a dedicated scroll area to the right.

I just received and installed this keyboard/mouse to replace a wireless Logitech wireless keyboard and mouse that failed after 13 months of service. Set up was extremely easy. It worked right off the bat with virtually no problems. It has a great feel and key set up. After two days I have nothing but good things to say about it. It is a great keyboard/mouse for the price.

I have owned 3 different makes of Wireless Keyboard and once you get used to the concept you wont want to go back to seperate mouse & keyboards mine is linked upto a HP Pavilion system in the kitchen and the key board lays around the table and is now a part of the furniture this is what I think of it compared to previous ones I have had.

1. Phillips which was great until the left mouse button failed and became un usable

2. Tough ball (expensive) always dropped out of signal and missed key presses constantly and felt cheap and tacky
infuriating when entering passwords! a waste of

I got this keyboard to plug into an Ubuntu living room PC. I have also used this keyboard with Windows XP.

One thing I like about this is that it requires no drivers in XP or Ubuntu - it just appear like a normal keyboard and mouse. This is especially important for Linux, as I lost weeks of my life trying to get a Belkin bluetooth keyboard and mouse to work in Ubuntu.

Unlike cheaper wireless keyboards which only have a couple of feet of range, and are designed for desktop use, this one easily works across the living room. It is contoured to sit comfortably in both hands, or on your knees.
The trackball and positioning of the primary button are very natural - much more so than a normal mouse I think. Navigating with the mouse is certainly faster than a trackpad, and easily keeps up with the speed of mouse navigation.
I've used alkaline batteries in it, and have never needed to change them in 12 months.
Overall, an expensive purchase for a keyboard, but it is a perfect living room keyboard.

The only thing I would change is to provide both mouse buttons on the right-hand side. This would make it more useful in first person shooters - where the trackball works better than a mouse.

I bought this keyboard to replace a logitech keyboard that had stopped working. I bought it because it was a "Which?" magazine Best Buy. The Amazon details said that this keyboard would not work with Windows 7 (64 bit) but I checked with Microsoft Technical helpline who reassured me that it would. Setting up the keyboard and its software was easy. Windows 7 searched for and found updated 64 bit drivers automatically.

I like the keyboard and its features and quickly adapted to the curved layout. My only complaint is that the left hand shift key is rather small but I have now adapted to even this.

This is basically a clone of the Sony Vaio keyboards, except about 1/5 the price. If you want to know what it feels like to type on, wander into PC World and try typing on a Sony laptop, this feels exactly the same.

Keys are matt black, the rest of the keyboard is the shiny kind of black you get on most PC monitors these days.

Layout is UK standard keyboard layout, not US layout as seen in the pic.

Media hotkeys are volume up, volume down and mute. Would have been nice if it was something more useful like play/pause and next song, but never mind.

I'll never use wired equipment again after using this wireless mouse and keyboard. Absolutely awesome! When I plugged the base unit into my USB port at first I didn't get any response from the keyboard and mouse. However a quick reboot of the PC later and I'm in business.
The mouse is a little heavier than a conventional with-wire mouse because of the 2xAA batteries, but after a few minutes I actually found that this felt better than before - a positive feel to the mouse. Very crisp and error-free movement. As for the keyboard, it feels much nicer than the standard Dell model I was using previously. It's very comforable and the keys feel positive, soft and not too clunky.
Overall, can't be beaten for the price.
